EU sets up $1 trillion eurozone/IMF defense package to protect euro from disintegration
The European Union and the International Monetary Fund pledged nearly $1 trillion Monday to defend the embattled euro, hoping to repel relentless attacks on the weakest of Europe's debt-laden nations and prevent the common currency from disintegrating.

Japan's Nikkei 225 stock average rose 1.3 percent to 10,499.25 and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index climbed 0.8 percent to 20,080.18. Futures suggested Wall Street would welcome the euro defense. Dow futures jumped 233 points, or 2.3 percent, to 10,568, and S&P and Nasdaq futures were both up more than 2.7 percent.

Officials hope the massive sums will deter currency speculators from betting on a euro collapse after political posturing and soothing words failed to convince investors that Greece's financial implosion could be contained.

Some eurozone nations, meanwhile, blamed financially weak nations and a lack of European cooperation for the crisis.
"I'm against putting all the blame on speculation," said Austrian Finance Minister Josef Proell. "Speculation is only successful against countries that have mismanaged their finances for years."
Separately, eurozone leaders on Saturday gave final approval for a euros80 billion ($100 billion) rescue package of loans to Greece for the next three years to stave off default. The International Monetary Fund also approved its part of the rescue package — euros30 billion ($40 billion) of loans — in Washington Sunday.

“Elena is open-minded, pragmatic and progressive,” said Walter Dellinger, a former acting solicitor general in the Clinton administration who is close to both Ms. Kagan and the White House. “Each of those qualities will appeal to some, and not to others.“Her open-mindedness may disappoint some who want a sure liberal vote on almost every issue. Her pragmatism may disappoint those who believe that mechanical logic can decide all cases. And her progressive personal values will not endear her to the hard right. But that is exactly the combination the president was seeking.”In some respects, Ms. Kagan’s traits — her desire to build consensus through persuasion, her people skills, her ability to listen to others — mirror those Mr. Obama sees in himself. They are qualities that the president hopes will play out in a leadership role on a deeply divided court. While Ms. Kagan has cited Justice Marshall as one she admires, some expect her to behave more like the center left Justice David Souter, who retired last year, or the master tactician John Paul Stevens, whom she would replace if confirmed.“She was one of the most strategic people I’ve ever met, and that’s true across lots of aspects of her life,” said John Palfrey, a law professor who was hired at Harvard by Ms. Kagan. “She is very effective at playing her cards in every setting I’ve seen.”Ms. Kagan’s paper trail is scant, her academic writings painstakingly nonideological. And unlike Justice Sonia Sotomayor, a fellow New Yorker and Princeton graduate, who has written and spoken extensively about her childhood, Ms. Kagan, the daughter of a lawyer and a schoolteacher, is more private. During her academic and public life, she has rarely spoken of her political beliefs.
When Mr. Dellinger interviewed her recently for a forum at Georgetown Law, he prodded her to talk about her growing up, and the influences that shaped her. She obliged, somewhat reluctantly, serving up only some bland details about her admiration for her parents.
Yet as a young writer for The Princetonian, the student newspaper at Princeton, Ms. Kagan offered clear insight into her worldview. She had spent the summer of 1980 working to elect a liberal Democrat, Liz Holtzman, to the Senate. On Election Night, she drowned her sorrow in vodka and tonic as Ronald Reagan took the White House and Ms. Holtzman lost to “an ultraconservative machine politician,” she wrote, named Alfonse D’Amato.
“Where I grew up — on Manhattan’s Upper West Side — nobody ever admitted to voting for Republicans,” Ms. Kagan wrote, in a kind of Democrat’s lament. She described the Manhattan of her childhood, where those who won office were “real Democrats — not the closet Republicans that one sees so often these days but men and women committed to liberal principles and motivated by the ideal of an affirmative and compassionate government.”
It was perhaps the last time Ms. Kagan wrote so openly of her own political beliefs. Last year, at her confirmation hearing to become solicitor general, senators focused less on her politics, but on whether she was too much in the ivory tower, with too little lawyerly experience to argue cases before the nation’s highest court. That question will almost certainly come up again, given that Ms. Kagan has never been a judge.
“One of the things I would hope to bring to the job is not just book learning, not just the study that I’ve made of constitutional and public law, but of a kind of wisdom and judgment, a kind of understanding of how to separate the truly important from the spurious,” Ms. Kagan said. “I like to think that one of the good things about me is that I know what I don’t know and that I figure out how to learn it when I need to learn it.”
At Hunter College High School in the 1970s, Ms. Kagan was a standout in a school of ultrabright girls. At least one classmate there, Natalie Bowden, remembers she had an ambitious goal: to become a Supreme Court justice.
“That was a goal from the very beginning,” Ms. Bowden said. “She did talk about it then.”
The school, which then occupied three floors of an office building at 46th Street and Lexington Avenue, was and remains one of New York’s elite public high schools. It drew girls from across the city and an array of backgrounds — all admitted on the strength of their performance on an entrance exam, rather than money or family connections.
“We were really exposed to tremendous diversity there — whether it was a Jewish girl from the Upper West Side or a cop’s kid from the Bronx or the daughter of a C.E.O. from the Upper East Side or kids whose parents worked in sweatshops in Chinatown,” said Ellen M. Purtell, a high school classmate of Ms. Kagan’s. “It was never about what you were wearing. It was: Did you bring your best game academically with you today and could you contribute to the discussion?”
The school, which went coed soon after Ms. Kagan left in 1977, was a rigorous, nurturing environment that instilled an ethos of public service.

Indians were the first inhabitants of the land which is now the United States. There are still many thousands of the descendants of these original inhabitants living in all parts of the country. Sometimes it is said that the Indians are "the only real Americans."
Most Americans, however, are descendants of people who came from all over the world to find a new life in a new land. Those who came first and in greatest numbers to make their homes on the eastern coast of North America were mostly from England. Distribution of Awarded Desrees by Field of Study
This bar chart shows us the distribution of awarded degrees among five different fields of study in 2000. We can see that the distribution of bachelor's degrees in the fields of social science, education, natural sciences, humanities, business, and accounting is, more or less, even. However, when it comes to Masters and Doctorates, a very large proportion goes to the field of education and natural sciences respectively. What is worse, the humanities have the smaller or smallest number of graduates. Take the Masters for example, humanities has only ten percent of the total number of degrees, which is the smallest portion. Why is there such an uneven distribution of degrees when it comes to Masters or Doctorates. In other words, why do more students choose education for their Master's degree and the natural sciences for their Doctorate's degrees? The answer, I think, lies in the fact that it is easier to find jobs after graduation if they pursue these two degrees. A Master in education, for instance, may find it easier to find a teaching post, possibly, in a college or, certainly, in a high school. Astudent with a Doctorate degree in the natural sciences may find it easier to hold a position either in a research institute, a college, or a large company.

Micro-sensor technology
With the development of modem networks and wireless communication technology, Micro-Electro-Mechanism System (MEMS), Micro-sensor technology, and artificial intelligence, Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has been developed rapidly. Recent years, wireless sensor network has been applied to a lot of domains, such as country security, environment detecting military affairs reconnaissance, traffic management, and agriculture etc.. In WSN, sensors are characterized mainly by small size, dense deployment, and limited energy, those characters baffle the development of WSN. Additionally, a new cluster algorithm which could save node energy has been proposed. Cluster algorithm is a strategy which could divide network into a number of clusters, cluster algorithm uses the method of cluster head competition in the each cluster, which manages the network topology, and uses the data fusion to compress transmission data. Cluster algorithm becomes the primary strategy to save energy of network.In order to prolong the lifetime of the WSN, it is essential to design a self-organized clustering algorithm to accommodate the characteristics of sensor network. This paper proposes a kind of load balancing and energy efficiency clustering model for WSN according to the characteristics of WSN, which optimizes clustering and route based on the energy of sensor and distance between sensors. The paper takes advantage of PSO to optimize the problem of cluster. In order to optimize the model in the help of PSO, this paper designs a type of updating mechanism about the position vector and speed vector of particles, and penalty function strategy is introduced to solve two primary constraints. The simulation results show that our algorithm greatly improves the performance and efficiently saves the energy of WSN in the help of MATLAB 7.1.

To be honest, you sound like all you care about is yourself, as long as you can gain from a situation. I didn't read one word about love, as there was nothing written about regard for others. Only me me me me, and if it feels good to me, forget others, they are expendable. You also appear ready to Sell yourself to those offering position, and material gain in some way. Nothing about personal character and personal worth, all about status, self servitude and self indulgement. The fact you repeatedly pursued those in relationships with others, dumped the first bf you had because of the things mentioned.............anything attractive about u as a person yet?

My Love story
I was a common college student before, and I had a very good boyfriend, with slender shape, pale skin but handson feature.We love each other very much, and we sticked together everyday in oother's admiring eyes.At that time days went on fastly.
Our intimacy lasted until we both graduated from the university. At the end of the last happy days, our relationship was over.Things started with my betraying of our relationship.
I was hired by a electronic private company, my job was to assist my manager to follow up the manufactorying issues.He was a short man, to be honest, ugly. But I was attracted by has mysterious charm. He was strong,ambitious, and overwhelming.I was totally infatuated in the previous stage of love. I said good bye to my previous boyfriend, and devoted all my time, life and energy to chase the new love. But he disliked me, in his opinion I was just a little girl, kind of ,stupid. I realised this, but I couldn't get rid of the love I had given to him even if there was no return.I lost the capacity to work as his underlying, because of the emotion I had to him. So I quited after a period.
I was stuck in severe pain in my heart. The unbearable miss of him gnaws me everyday every minute.I got a new job in foxconn, as a purchaser. And here I knew a new manager. I hated this new manager because he was girly, I put all my time and energy into my job , and did very well at the begining.But the lovelorn life still disturbed me. Finally he came to find me. We had relationship that night. He didn't really get into my body, as he said he never wanted to hurt me. That's the life, I thinked. Things were bit better after his visit. I had an lover, and I wasn't pure little girl anymore. I had experienced a lot and I was much more sophisicated.
I forgot him quickly. Because I began a new love. Not long the new manager displayed his unique charm which conquered me a lot. I began to fall in love the new manager gradually.But he has married, and had kept a 11 year old boy. I couldn't stay here and concentrated on my job because of my new love. So I made mistakes. That wasn't tolerated in this so strict enironment. I was kicked out .
4 years have been past since my graduation, now I get nothing. I waste my precious time on so ridiculous relationship, with those who have family. Now I get back to Chengdu, and find a stable job here. I hope I will win a good marrige and perfomance in my job.
And I want to caution those who want to play the dangerous games, stop being embroiled with those who have families, that will bring you huge pain and trouble. You will waste your time on it, and you will mess all of your life. like me. But I am still young, I have the chance to refresh my life.

The girl on the train
I had the compartment on the train to myself up to Rohana, and then a girl got on. The couple seeing her off were probably her parents, they seemed very anxious about her comfort, and the woman gave the girl detailed instructions as to where to keep her things, when not to lean out of windows, and how to avoid speaking to strangers.
As I had become blind by then, I could not tell what the girl looked like, but I knew she wore slippers from the way they slapped against her heels, and I liked the sound of her voice.
"Are you going all the way to Dehra Dun?" I asked her as the train pulled out of the station.
I must have been sitting in a dark corner, because my voice startled her. She gave a little exclamation, and said, "I didn't know anyone else was here."
Well, it often happens that people with good eyesight fail to see what is right in front of them. They have too much to observe, I suppose, whereas those who cannot see take in what registers most telling on their remaining senses.
"I didn't see you either at first," I said. "But I heard you come in." I wondered if I would be able to prevent her from discovering that I couldn't see. I thought, provided I keep to my seat, it shouldn't be too difficult.
"I'm getting down at Saharanpur," the girl said. "My aunt is meeting me there. Where are you going?"
"To Dehra Dun, and then to Mussoorie," I replied. "Oh, lucky you! I wish I were going to Mussoorie. I love the mountains. Especially in October."
"Yes, this is the best time." I said, calling on my memories when I could see. "The hills are covered with wild dahlias, the sun is delicious, and at night you can sit in front of a log fire and drink a little brandy.
Most of the tourists have gone, and the roads are quiet and almost deserted."
She was silent, and I wondered if my words had touched her, or whether she thought me a romantic fool. Then I made a mistake. "What is it like outside?" I asked.

“You act like a nice lady in everything, like good cooking, good acting, good listening, etc, why you don’t do something bad and devil actions.”
“That may hurt people.” I said.
Some friends always tell me that maybe I need not to be that good, maybe some girls can get what they want by not good action. Like the girls that keep relationship with some boys at the same time and get what they want from different boys, they hurt them but they feel all right. Some girls try bad mean to threaten boys so they keep relationship with them, and then get what they look for. Like one example, one of her friend tried to marry to one engineer, which from a rich family. His parents don’t like her, but she slept with that boy and has one baby, so finally they forced to accept her to be their daughter-in-law.
The one that not so mature in complicated relationship that only calculate by others, like my bad experience that I was cheated by one bad guys years ago, finally I got up and go on with my new life. I hate to recall that bad memory and wish it never happen.
But is that world really go that way that bad people get more?
